Community. Grounded. Simplistic.

Roots is an app that helps users find local places to donate and volunteer, or can post their own donation and volunteer opportunities.

When designing the UI for Roots, I wanted it to look as grounded as it sounds. The use of a cool green reminds the user of its connection to the real world, and helps the user to remember that their actions can grow into something greater and greener. The use of cool gray connects the green back to the screen. While the point of the app is to go out and make a difference, the app helps the user to make the process of donating and volunteering more simple.
